Gasoline prices continue to slide, and for the first time in over five years, the price-at-the-pump in Rochester has dropped below two dollars a gallon.

The website MinnesotaGasPrices.com show most gas stations in Rochester are now selling regular-grade gasoline for $1.99-9. The statewide average is now down to about $2.06 a gallon, but some stations in the Twin Cities have dropped the price below $1.80 a gallon.

Gas prices in Minnesota have not been this low since the early summer of 2009.
