Seems like an every day occurrence these days, but now with Facebook of all things under fire for leaking our information to anyone that wants it, it's no wonder people are constantly paranoid at losing their personal data.

Any random day of shopping, whether online or in-store could potentially put your data at risk from hackers, which is flat out scary. So if you've shopped at any of these five spots in Rochester the last 18 months, your credit info might be jeopardy:

  • Forever 21: Back in November, it was announced that anyone who shopped there between March and October of last year could have been hacked. All payment card data, including the card number, expiration date, and an "internal verification code were all taken. However, here's a bit of good news: This only pertains to in-store purchases – any online purchases were not affected.
  • GameStop: According to Threatpost, the company's online customers were exposed over a six-month timeframe between August 2016 and February 2017. Someone stole names, addresses, and credit card numbers from customers who shopped there. You should have already been notified by mail if this affected you, so if you haven't heard anything then you're probably safe.
  • Kmart: They confirmed last year that customer's credit card info was stolen, according to CNETBest Buy is affected as well.
  • Panera Bread: Earlier this month they confirmed that a flaw in their website might have left 37 million people's information open to hackers. The company knew about the at-risk data (which included names, email and mailing addresses, birthdays, and the last four digits of the customer’s credit card) for nearly a year, according to KrebsOnSecurity.
