Paul McCartney must be a Rae Sremmurd fan. Check out the newly posted above clip that finds McCartney taking the mannequin challenge to the soundtrack of the Mississippi rap duo's "Black Beatles," just days after Rae Sremmurd staged their own version onstage in Denver.

There have been countless other versions uploaded since then – each with people standing frozen, often featuring the song "Black Beatles" in the background. But none of those have included, you know, an actual Beatle.

As the McCartney video begins, he holds perfectly still in front of a piano, just as Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi raps, “Black Beatle, b----, me and Paul McCartney related.” A message included with the new Twitter post says, "Love those Black Beatles #MannequinChallenge."

In the earlier Rae Sremmurd video, Swae Lee, Slim Jxmmi and the rest of their crew held themselves in stony silence – as did most of the crowd – before jumping into action just as the beat begins on "Black Beatles." Their new album SremmLife 2 debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard chart in August.

Gucci Mane is also featured on "Black Beatles," which has just become the first Top 10 track for both artists. The Fader attributes that success, along with a 1,118 percent increase in spins on Pandora, to the quickly growing popularity of the mannequin challenge. Who knows? McCartney might have just given Rae Sremmurd an additional boost too.
