To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, the staff of MSN's Travel and Leisure Department have named the top national park in each state.  In Minnesota, they have chosen Voyageurs National Park.  Voyageurs was established in 1975, its name "voyageur" being French for "traveler".  Located near International Falls, Voyageurs covers 218,054 acres and offers camping, hiking, and fishing on its four large lakes and twenty-six smaller interior lakes.  Rent a lodge or houseboat, or stay at a near-by resort.  In winter months, enjoy snowmobiling and cross country skiing.  I'm not a camper, but it sounds like Voyageurs National Park is a dream destination for campers and outdoor activity folks.
