Two Rochester Moms to Open Fresh New Restaurant
Kristi Pencille and Stephanie Sawyer are about to bring something completely different to Rochester. They are introducing us to a successful franchise known as Saladworks. While you can find them all over the country, their location will be the first in Minnesota, and it will be right here in downtown Rochester. Why Rochester?
There are several quick-service options in the area, but nothing like Saladworks. We are both full-time working moms that often look for a quick, healthy option over our lunch hour or while running errands on the weekend. Bringing Saladworks to the community will help meet the needs of people just like us. - Kristi
What is Saladworks? It is the Nation's Leading Salad Franchise. You'll be able to choose your salad base, toppings, and bread as a side, and they whip it up fresh right in front of you. There are over 65 ingredients to pick from. They'll also have grain bowls, soups and more.
The Rochester Saladworks will be located in the former Weber and Judd space in the Mayo subway. They will have seating for up to 50 people. The goal is to have the restaurant open to the public by the end of August.
