Take a Tractor Ride Through Beautiful Bluff Country

There's a reason southeast Minnesota is called Bluff Country.  The scenery of the hills and valleys is breathtaking.  Want to experience Mother Nature in all her glory?  Make plans now to take part in Preston's sixth annual autumn tractor ride September 15 and 16.  Sponsored by the Preston Historical Society, the tractor ride begins and ends each day at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds in Preston.  A 50-mile ride is planned each day.  Saturday takes you to Greenleafton, Granger, Lime Springs, Wykoff, Fountain and Preston.  Hit the trail Sunday to Fountain, Fillmore, Chatfield, back to Fountain and finally Preston  Old and new tractors are welcomed.  Indoor overnight tractor storage available.  Registration fee is $105 which includes four meals and T-shirt.  For more information or to register, contact Elaine Maust at 507-765-2453.  Happy trails!
