The #18 seeded Lanesboro Burros used the momentum from a last-season layup before the half, which gave them a 22-21 lead, to get the offense moving to a 64-42 win in Girls Section 1A Playoff action Tuesday night against #15 seeded LeRoy-Ostrander.

Emily Snyder hit a layup right before the buzzer at the half to give the Burros a lead, and from there Lanesboro really got their offense moving. With Lanesboro leading 32-30 in the second half, the Burros went on a 12-2 run to get their lead to double-digits.

LeRoy-Ostrander struggled to hit shots in the second half, while the Burros were able to rebound well in the second half. Synder led the way with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Lex Johnson, Sophia Simes and Payton Benson all had 11 points.

The Cardinals were led by Lauren Helgeson's 14 points, while Emily Hofner added in 12, all from beyond the arc.
