Steam Engine Days Comes To Mabel

The unofficial end of the summer festival season is this weekend.  Hesper-Mabel Steam Engine Days takes place September 8 through 11 in Mabel.  If you like tractors, this is the place to be!

Schedule of events includes tractor parades, tractor ride, tractor pull - you get the idea!  Festival parades are held both Saturday and Sunday.  Plenty of live music all weekend long.  The always-popular Iowa Thunder youth drill team performs Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Historical Society Grounds.  And remember to buy your raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2016 Dodge Dart SE Rallye or 1966 Allis Chalmers D17 Series IV.  More information about the celebration available at Steam Engine Days.  See you there!
