Dianna Ross and her Supremes, Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong, had countless hits during their career.  November 30, 1968, "Love Child" reached the #1 spot on the  Billboard pop chart, the 11th time the Supremes held the #1 spot.

"Tip-Toe Thru The Tulips" singer Tiny Tim suffered a heart attack on stage during a concert in 1996.  He later passed away at a hospital in Minneapolis.  The singer was 63.

In 2000, tragedy struck the band Loverboy. Their bass player, Scott Smith, died at 45 years of age.  A 26-foot wave swept him overboard in shark infested waters in San Francisco.

And in 1999, the Boy Scout Association expressed their distaste of Elton John's concert in London.  While Elton was singing "It's A Sin", six male dancers were on stage dressed as Boy Scouts and removed their uniforms during Elton's performance.
