November 22, 1968 The Beatles double album "The Beatles" was released.  It contained 29 songs, including the first song written by Ringo Starr "Don't Pass Me By".  The album became known to fans simply as "The White Album".

K. C. And The Sunshine Band hit the charts in 1975 with "That's The Way (I Like It)" uh huh uh huh.  This was just three months after they earned their first number one record with "Get Down Tonight".

After I give you this bit of trivia, you're going to be singing, or having this song play in your head all day long.  In 1979, Debby Boone was awarded a platinum record for "You Light Up My Life".  The song held the #1 spot on the Billboard charts for ten weeks.
