La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) - The National Weather Service says there is a risk of stormy weather across southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa Monday.

The agency’s office in La Crosse says a strong storm system is expected to move into the region and create strong winds through Tuesday.

Winds could gust as high as 55-miles per hour. There will also be a risk of an isolated tornado and large hail Monday afternoon and evening.  

It will be warm Monday with highs around 60 but cooler air is expected the rest of the week with a chance of snow on Friday.
