Patriotic Week Programming Saluting America’s Freedom

I'm proud to be an American.  I love our country. I love Americana, our American flag and the Pledge of Allegiance. Kate Smith's version of "God Bless America" can move me to tears. I fly a flag at my house year-round. Yes, I'm proud to be an American.

KFIL will be having "Patriotic Week" programming June 27 - July 4. Tune in for inspirational music and learn facts about "The Star-Spangled Banner" and our flag. Did you know that the thirteen stripes on our flag represent the original thirteen colonies? Celebrate our independence at Harmony's Fourth of July Get-Together and Eitzen's Family Fun Fest.

If you really want to be inspired, visit the new State Veteran's Cemetery in Preston and say a prayer for Armed Forces veterans who gave their lives to protect our freedom.
