Here is what Minnesota had happen through history on April 1st
1880-An act if congress places Fort Ripley in the Public Domain, making the land available for settlement. It was established in 1849 and abandoned by the army in 1878.
1923-Twin City Savings and Loan Association is chartered. It assisted thousands of area families to become homeowners.
1924-600 women attend a Women's safe driver automobile school at the YMCA
