Mall of America Will Be Closed on Thanksgiving Day

The United States largest shopping center, Mall of America located in Bloomington, Minnesota, has announced that it will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so employees can enjoy the holiday with friends and family. 

According to an article on cnbc.com, the MOA has been open on Thanksgiving Day since 2012.  This year the center will be closed from the end of business hours Wednesday Thanksgiving Eve until 5 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving.  Mall of America Senior Vice President of Marketing Jill Renslow states  "We think Thanksgiving is a day for families and for people we care about.  We want to give this day back."  Read more about the mall's decision here Thanksgiving closure.
