It's considered the area's biggest party weekend.  Buffalo Bill Days hits Lanesboro this weekend.  The fun starts Friday at 4 p.m. with the opening of the beer and brat tent, and wraps Sunday night when the tent closes. R&M Amish tours will offer sober rides Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.; call 467-2128.  Here are a few highlights:

FRIDAY AUGUST 5
Men's softball tournament starts at 7 p.m. and continues through the weekend.  Dance with Trouble Shooter at the fire hall starting at 8:30.

SATURDAY AUGUST 6
Co-ed volleyball tourney starts at 8 a.m. and continues Sunday.  Farmer's market, entertainment, kids carnival at Sylvan Park.  "Souvenir" performance at Commonweal Theatre at 1:30.  Dance with J T and the Gunslingers at the Community Center parking lot starting at 8 p.m.  Fireworks at dusk.

SUNDAY AUGUST 7
Ecumenical church service 10:30 a.m.  Activities with Cannon Old West Society, kids carnival, and music at Sylvan Park.  Kids pedal pull 3 p.m.  DJ and Karaoke at beer tent 3 p.m.  GRAND PARADE 1:30.  If you can't make it to the parade, tune in to KFIL for our broadcast of the excitement!
