Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) –  A report of a man with a gun at a Rochester tattoo shop led to the arrest of a former owner of the business.

An Olmsted County Sheriff's Deputy took 39-year-old Travis Beckjorden into custody without incident Wednesday afternoon outside a rural Pine Island business after the Rochester man was spotted driving on Highway 52 near Oronoco. A spokesman says law officers were on the lookout for Beckjorden after Rochester Police responded to the Autonomy Tattoo and Piercing business, where an employee reported Beckjorden had come to the shop waving a gun around and saying he was looking for his former business partner.

Following his arrest, deputies searched his vehicle and found two handguns, a lock pick kit, and a small amount of methamphetamine. Beckjorden is being held on a long list of possible charges, including second-degree assault, terroristic threats, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
