Fillmore Central’s Football Field Gets Facelift

One of my favorite parts of traveling across Southeast Minnesota is seeing some great facilities and some great hometown football fields, gyms, baseball/softball diamonds and so much more.

It doesn't matter what school it is, it is always cool to see what each field and atmosphere has to offer.

Fillmore Central's football field is just wrapping up the process of laying down some new grass, and the addition of a new grandstand. It looks like it is going to be a fun season for the Falcons with some new additions to their field. Check out some of the photos from the FCFalconSports Twitter page.

It started with putting in the grandstand and a new sprinkler system, and before the sod came they took a video of a really cool visual.

New sod is always nice and should make for a better and safer playing surface!

I can't wait to see what it looks like in person when the fall comes back around, which isn't too far away!
