It is not like Southern Minnesota has had to deal with abnormal weather throughout March and April. Now, even in May, the area will see the cold weather continue.

According to the National Weather Service, those who love the nice weather that much of the area had over the weekend better have enjoyed it. The next week's forecast is ugly with the high on Wednesday reaching a balmy 44 degrees.

The National Weather Service is expecting below average temperatures to come through all week, but the sun should sign throughout the weekend comes. Showers are possible on Wednesday and Thursday before the sun returns.

Now, last May many Minnesotans experienced a scorching hot month, but by the time we reach the middle of May, we still may be able to count the number of nice days of the month on one hand.
