Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released information about the traffic crash that created a huge traffic jam on northbound Highway 52 in Rochester this morning.

It occurred at about 9:30 AM near the 37th Street interchange when a vehicle slid out of control in front of a semi-truck, which struck the smaller vehicle before it jackknifed and blocked the highway. Traffic came to a complete standstill and backed up for more than a mile while the State Patrol and other emergency responders cleared the busy roadway.

The truck driver was not hurt but the other driver, 24-year-old Angalee Morrow of Rochester, was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
