St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Doctors at Regions Hospital in St. Paul have upgraded the conditions of the two people who were badly burned in a fiery traffic wreck near Rochester earlier this week.

A spokesperson says 32-year-old Daniel Kropp is now listed in serious condition and 26-year-old Melissa Debus is now in fair condition. The Rochester man and Stewartville woman were both listed in critical condition after they were admitted to the hospital’s burn unit following the crash Tuesday afternoon.

The State Patrol says Debus was headed south on Olmsted County Road 15 and failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 30, about two miles west of the Rochester Airport. Her car hit Kropp’s vehicle broadside and both ended up on fire in the ditch.
