I'm here to tell you It's OK to believe this is our year. Because it is.

It began around Thanksgiving. That 'feeling' like something special was happening this season. It's a feeling we get as Vikings fans from time to time, but will always suppress to the deepest, darkest realm of our fandom because we don't want to be let down again.

I'm certainly not the first Minnesota Vikings fan to feel scared about the possibility that my team could win it all. We all know what happened in the late 60's and 70's with the four Super Bowl losses. Then '98 happened... and most recently '09. Even two years ago when Blair Walsh missed wide left, it just added to the pain and misery of cheering for this team. All of those instances were gut punches, and we're all still scarred from those heartbreaking losses.

But I'm here to tell you it's OK to let your guard down... It's alright to dream BIG and start planning your massive purple and gold Super Bowl party. Whether you should dust off and wear your vintage Alan Page, Cris Carter or John Randle jersey's during the game, or to go more new-school with Adam Thielen or Harrison Smith.

Personally, I always wear my 50th Anniversary Randy Moss jersey for big games. It worked Week One when my wife surprised me with tickets to play these same Saints at U.S. Bank Stadium, so I plan on donning the same apparel all the way through SB LII.

The bottom line is this: If I can finally believe in this historic and suffocating defense our front office and Coach Zimmer has constructed since he arrived, then you can too. Case Keenum knows what he's doing and so do our players.

So watch this amazing hype video now, and then again before the game and tell me you don't believe we can finally #BringItHome:
