The first "full" day of the Fillmore County Fair in Preston seems to be successful.  On my visit to the fairgrounds early Wednesday evening, many people were just arriving.  Some eating dinner at the 4-H dining hall.  Touring the barns checking out the show animals. Kids laughing and enjoying FREE bounce houses.  Bill Bentson busy interviewing a radio guest.  Even the temporary tattoo artist had a couple of customers.  I was unable to stay for the Go-Kart races but being a rain-free evening with a cooling gentle breeze, I hope it drew a nice crowd to the grandstands.  Take a peek at the pictures below.  We certainly have some very talented 4-H kids - nice job!  The fair runs through Sunday so you still have plenty of time to enjoy the festivities!  Check our website and Facebook daily for schedule of events. All photos: I Edwards, TSM.
