On its own, 'Triple Nine' doesn't offer audiences much intrigue. A heist thriller? Where's the hook? Well, the hook is apparently the illustrious cast, which already includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Casey Affleck and Kate Winslet. But now a bushel of stars are in the process of joining, as well, all of who are hotly in demand.

According to Deadline, 2013 breakout star Michael B. Jordan ('Fruitvale Station'), Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot and lovable 'Breaking Bad' star Aaron Paul are in talks to join 'Triple Nine,' along with Teresa Palmer of 'Warm Bodies.' The film is directed by John Hillcoat of such films as 'Lawless' and 'The Road,' as well as that infamous 2014 Super Bowl commercial for Coke that caused a stir among anti-gay groups for featuring gay dads.

'Triple Nine' centers around a troupe of crooked cops, who are blackmailed by the Russian mob into committing a seemingly impossible heist job. To pull it off, the crew sets up a 999 (police code for “officer down”) by setting up a rookie cop to die, but the plan is turned upside down when said rookie ruins everything.

Virtually every member of the eventual cast has had a big year -- Ejiofor wowed audiences with his portrayal as free man-turned-slave Solomon Northup in Steve McQueen's '12 Years a Slave,' Gal Gadot landed the role of a lifetime in Zack Snyder's upcoming 'Batman vs. Superman' movie, Aaron Paul is segwaying from 'Breaking Bad' onto the big screen with 'Need for Speed,' Casey Affleck debuted 'Out of the Furnace' with Christian Bale and landed the lead in the upcoming Boston Strangler movie, Kate Winslet got a Golden Globe nom for 'Labor Day,' and Michael B. Jordan is on every director's most-wanted list and is reportedly attached to the role of Human Torch in Josh Trank's forthcoming 'Fantastic Four.' (Whew!) Needless to say, we're excited to see these folks together in one film.

'Triple Nine' will hit theaters some time in 2015.
