MiEnergy Cooperative has notified its members that those in the City of Rushford will be without power beginning at 1 p.m. today.

If you receive your electric bill from the City of Rushford, you will be without power starting at 1 p.m. and it will last for approximately six hours.

The cooperative noticed a transmission line has been blinking this week, and affecting MiEnergy Cooperative members in Lewiston, Utica, Rushford and Stockton.

Today, that transmission line blinked twice. Special equipment was placed on that same line last Tuesday, which helped isolate the problem area, which was a ITC Midwest's transmission line near Rushford.

ITC is sending crews today to replace about a dozen insulators that may fix the situation and problem, which is the reason for the power outage.
