RPU water main break

Rochester Public Utilities is dealing with a water main break at a busy intersection.

Workers are repairing the break at the intersection of North Broadway and Elton Hills Drive and hope to have service restored to about 30 customers today. The rupture was first discovered yesterday. RPU spokesman Tony Benson says there have also been several residential service line breaks reported so far, most likely the result of the bitterly cold weather.
