Monday came way too soon.  Four-day weekends can be tough!

Who would have thought!  In 1960, the children's song "Ol' Mac Donald" sung by the great Frank Sinatra hit #25 on the Billboard Hot 100.  I guess people will buy anything Frank sings!

In 1979, fire destroyed Ringo Starr's home in Hollywood Hills, burning up all of his The Beatles keepsakes.

Jerry Edmonton, drummer for Steppenwolf, was killed in a car accident near his home in California in 1993.  Edmonton was 47.

Also in 1993, Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" hit #1 on the Billboard chart and remained there until the following March.  The song was originally recorded by Dolly Parton in 1973.
