I love the Motown sound, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and of course, The Supremes.  Dianna Ross and her back-up singers, The Supremes, appeared on "Shindig" in 1964 and sang two of their biggest hits "Baby Love" and "Come See About Me".  Now that's music!
"I love you more today than yesterday...but not as much as tomorrow"...what a great song!  In 1968 Spiral Staircase recorded the mega hit which reached #12 on the Billboard charts and #7 on Cash Box Best Sellers.
Still Bill, Bill Withers, performed on "Soul Train" in 1972 singing his signature song "Lean On Me".  Want to sing along?  Click here You Tube.
