Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman who briefly campaigned for the First District Congressional seat as a Democrat, has become one the first person to officially launch a campaign for Mayor of Rochester since Mayor Ardell Brede announced this would be his final term in office.

Regina Mustafa, who has lived in the city the past ten years, is already well-known in the community as the founder of the Community Interfaith Dialogue group. She is also a member of the Rochester Ethical Practices Board and serves on the Olmsted County Human Rights Commission.
