Two of the more significant ones were at the Shorewood Senior Living complex and the Crowne Apartments. The Shorewood call came in around 3:30. It affected a first floor dining room and a second floor activity room. An hour later, crews were sent to the Crown Apartments site on 59th street northwest. That leak caused significant damage to the entryway to the building. Another serious rupture was reported around 7 a.m. at the North Plaza Office Building at 1700 North Broadway. Water from that break made its way to nearby 17th street.
