We spent a lot of time together over the years.  Many evenings we dined together, enjoying a thick, juicy steak.  Lunch hours were often spent eating a hot dog and watching "Days of Our Lives".  We sometimes had breakfast together, savoring crispy bacon.  Ahhh, yes.  George and I were great friends.  Sadly, I had to end the relationship.  I had to pull the plug on my George Foreman grill.  All day my mouth was drooling, waiting for dinner time and the thick pork chop waiting for me in my refrigerator. Imagine my dismay when I plugged George in and nothing happened.  No little red light to indicate he was warming up.  No heat coming from his grill plates.  It was time to say good-bye to my old friend.  I'm craving that rib eye steak in my freezer but I refuse to heat up my oven to broil one steak. I'll just have to wait until I make a trip to Rochester on Sunday to buy a replacement. Farewell, George.  Thanks for the good food and memories.
