We've known the end was near for a few weeks now. Well, this weekend, it's over. Or is it?I gotta say, one of my favorite things to do in Rochester is check out some live stand-up comedy and there is no better place than Goonie's Comedy Club. But we had heard that the building was sold and Goonie's will be moving out.

Their last show is this weekend, July 8th and 9th and if you've never been, it's definitely something to check out. It's always fun and the wait staff are second to none.

I do know that they're in the process of looking for a place to have comedy on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday nights so they're not done just yet. Hopefully they'll find a place.

As far as this weekend, Stu McCallister is the feature and Paul Strickland is the headliner. Before you go upstairs, make sure to take in some great food and cold beer downstairs.

Also, Goonie's is having a "farewell party" on Thursday. Check out the event from their facebook page. I have a feeling it won't be a long farewell. I think Goonie's will be back before we know it.
