Go Rochester!!!!!

After this weekend, Rochester had something big to celebrate.

Sunday Night this week was not just about football for some. It was the annual Miss America pageant. And did you know that Rochester actually had some ties to it?

Well it did, and here is how it did.

Miss Minnesota, Madeline Van Ert was competing. Not only that, won the award for Miss Congeniality. Now, I don't really know what that means, but congrats!!!!! The entire story is posted on KTTC.com about Madeline.

But just competing in the competition is a big honor, and winning.......Even better.

The winner of the crown, Savvy Shields. Who was representing Arkansas.

But a big shout out to Minnesota, and a local for that matter. Maybe next year, we see another Minnesotan take a honor like that.
