Flu Shot Clinic Planned in Preston

Fillmore County Public Health has two flu shot clinics scheduled - Monday October 3 from 2 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday October 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The clinics will be held at the Fillmore County Office Building, 902 Houston Street in Preston.  Cost of the flu shot is $30.  It's recommended that you wear a short-sleeved shirt and bring health insurance information with you. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends flu shots for anyone over the age of six months.  Child care providers and persons with health conditions are encouraged to get a flu shot.  There is no nasal spray vaccine available this year.  For more information about the flu shot clinics, contact Fillmore County Public Health at 765-3898.
