Flu Activity Continues to Wind Down in Minnesota
Flu activity in Minnesota continued to taper off last week.
The weekly influenza report from the State Health Department shows flu-related hospitalizations fell for a fifth straight week, while the number of outbreaks reported by long-term care facilities dropped over 50-percent. Only 13 Minnesota schools reported probable outbreaks last week after 11 reported outbreaks the previous week.
Overall flu activity in the state remained classified as regional.
