Fillmore County Receives Gift of Ballistic Shields

The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office received a donation of four ballistic shields from the Rochester Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  The presentation was made to Fillmore County Sheriff Tom Kaase and Deputy Jessy Betts during the DAR's annual awards program Saturday at the History Center of Olmsted County.  During the presentation, Sheriff Kaase expressed sincere gratitude for the generosity of the DAR organization.  Kaase commented that the ballistic shields will help to enhance not only the safety of Fillmore County law enforcement officers, but also the citizens of Fillmore County.
