Day One of the Fillmore County Fair is in the History Books

Even though there were no grandstand shows or music in the beer barn, Tuesday at the Fillmore County Fair in Preston was still bustling with activity.  Our own Bill Bentson was interviewing sponsors.  4-H kids were preparing their animals for showing.  Food stands were feeding hungry folks.  All in all, I would say it was a successful first day.  Keep  checking our website and Facebook all week long for the day's schedule.  The fair runs through Sunday July 24.
