The weather this weekend looks delightful so it will be a great time to get out and about to check-out local holiday celebrations.  Here's what's coming up for you and your family to enjoy!
Breakfast with Santa:  Jolly Old St. Nick will be having breakfast at two  towns on Saturday.  How does he do that?!  In Preston, Santa will be at Fillmore Central elementary cafeteria from 8 till 10:30 a.m.  He'll bring treats for all the good little boys and girls.  Bring your camera for photo ops!  Santa will also be in Harmony at the Community Center from 8:30 to 10:30 for breakfast and photos.  After breakfast, the Jem Theatre will show a free children's movie "The Grinch".
Take a drive to Houston on Saturday for the Fifth Annual Hollidazzle.  They will have a fun run, cookie decorating, ornament and craft making, sleigh rides, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus!  A lighted Christmas parade on Maple Street at 6:30 with Christmas tree lighting at Houston City Park after the parade.
Wrap up the weekend at Preston's Christ Lutheran Church Sunday.  Their annual and very popular lutefisk and meatball dinner starts at 11 a.m.   Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the church office.  Carry outs will be available.
