Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Forecasters continue to closely watch a developing storm system that could dump up to a foot of snow on areas of southeastern Minnesota Monday night and Tuesday.

A Winter Storm Watch has now been issued for the region, along with a large area of Iowa and southern Wisconsin from 3 PM Monday through 9 PM Tuesday. The National Weather Service says the track of the storm could shift, but at this point, forecasters are saying anywhere from 6 to 12-inches of snow is possible in the areas included in the winter storm watch.

The latest reports show 2 to 5 inches of snow fell across the region today, with the higher snowfall reports coming from parts of Dodge County. The snowfall totals in the Twin Cities today have been mainly in the 4 to 6-inch range.
