The Caledonia Warriors and Dover-Eyota Eagles were in a close battle Friday night, with the Warriors leading 31-26 at the break. A big push in the second half by the Warriors was too much for the Eagles to overcome and the Warriors got the win 75-60.

The Warriors got back-to-back 3's from Haley Jennings and Heidi Bolduan, while Katie Tornstrom led the team with 24 points to help the Warriors win and advance to 9-4 on the season.

The Eagles defense forced plenty of turnovers early, but offensively they struggled to score, and in the second half when the Warriors were pressuring, the Eagles were able to break the pressure at times but failed to convert.

Kylie Lacey led the way with 24 points for Dover-Eyota, while Lindsay Field added 12, but it was a late run for Caledonia sealed the win.

Leading 53-46, Jennings and Bolduan hit back-to-back 3's, which help jumpstart the Warriors to push the lead to 70-54. The 16-point lead was too much, and with Caledonia in the bonus with just over 12 minutes to play in the half, they were able to ice the game out at the free-throw line.

The Eagles played great defense in the first half and did a great job of limiting looks on the inside for Caledonia, and forced them to shoot from deep. It wasn't until the second half where the 3's started to fall for the Warriors. Bolduan hit 5 of them, Jennings hit 3 and Kaitlin Conniff and Tornstrom each hit one.
