Best Places to See Santa in Rochester

Check out these exciting places you can bring the kids, and the whole family, to capture a holiday memory with Santa Claus!

If you are up early, bring the kids to Century High School, for Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, Dec.13^th, 8 am-11 am. (Event hosted by Century High School Student Government).

See Santa from 8 am to 10 am. Enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, juice, muffins, donut holes, and fruit cups in the cafeteria.  Music, games, movies, and crafts for the kids. Musical entertainment for everyone.  A suggested donation of $5 per child (and others who are eating). All money will be donated to Century High School’s Bear Creek Extreme fundraiser, with proceeds to benefit Bear Creek Services and Brighter Tomorrows.  RSVPs are appreciated, but not necessary. Email kagardner@rochester.k12.mn.us  by Thursday, Dec.11th with family name and number who will attend.

If you are in downtown Rochester on Saturday, Dec. 13^th, 11 am -2 pm stop by for Photos with Santa @ Courtyard by Marriott, 161 13^th Ave., SW (across from Saint Mary's Hospital). Kids can visit with Santa by the cozy fireplace and enjoy free hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and coffee (for the adults) and cookies! Donate a non-perishable food item to the Channel One Food Bank, and you will receive a keepsake photo to take home with you.

Enjoy the holiday season outside with Santa and Live Reindeer Sleigh Rides at the Shoppes on Maine, (located by Target South).  Enjoy cookies & apple cider, bring your camera and do a little shopping at Old Navy, PetSmart, Target, Lowes, and many more surrounding businesses. Saturday, Dec. 13^th, 2 pm to 4 pm.  Also, Saturday, Dec. 20^th, 3 pm to 5 pm.

Bring your pet to Petco (by Sams Club) Saturday, December 13^th, from 1 pm-4 pm, pose with or without your pet next to Santa, bring home a keepsake frame, 100 % of your $9.99 purchase will benefit animals through the Petco Foundation.

You still have time to visit Santa at the Apache Mall, at the Center Court located right in front of Herberger's department store.  Hours are December 11^th, noon-8 pm, Dec. 12^th, 13^th, and 14^th, 10:00 am -9 pm, Dec. 15^th-20^th, 9:00 am-9 pm, Dec. 21^st 9 am-8 pm, Dec. 22^nd, 23^rd 9 am-9 pm and then one last chance Christmas Eve, December 24^th, 8 am-4 pm.
