B & B Olympic Bowl Fire Timeline – [VIDEO]

It's frightening how quickly a person's life can change. On January 1, 2016, Shelly Hanson started her day the same way she had done for many years - preparing to open her business for the day at B&B Bowl in Preston. An hour later, Shelly's world came crashing down around her.

Fire engulfed the beloved bowling alley and restaurant. The building and contents are a total loss. Thank you to Jason Sethre and the Fillmore County Journal for compiling this amazing video that chronicles the event.

If you would like to help the Hansons rebuild, two fundraisers are being planned with all proceeds going to the B&B Bowl rebuilding fund. Starlite Lanes in Caledonia is hosting a bowling tournament Saturday February 13. Contact Starlite Lanes at 507-725-3825 if you would like to participate.

Another fundraiser is set for March 5 at Wheelers in Harmony with silent and live auctions, food, and music with DJ Digger. Shelly, Paul and all the employees are extremely thankful for everything that has already been done on their behalf. With your continued help, they will be able to rebuild and get their lives, the lives of their employees and the community back to normal.
