Undated (KROC AM News) - It will be a cool Father’s Day for those planning to spend the weekend in northern Minnesota.

Weather forecasts are calling for high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s Saturday. But it is expected to be ten degrees cooler in many northern areas Sunday. Highs in the popular Brainerd Lakes area are expected to be in the low 60s. It may only hit 60 in areas further north.

Cool weather is expected across the entire state this weekend.

Highs in the Rochester area are expected to be around 70 degrees Sunday, the first time all month temperatures will be below normal.
