Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The 6th Street Southeast Bridge replacement project is scheduled to get underway on Monday.

It was originally scheduled to begin last week, but the Rochester Public Works Department pushed the schedule back one week because the forecast last week called for rain and snow.

6th street southeast will be closed to all through traffic between 8th avenue and 10th avenue until the end of August. In addition, 9th avenue southeast will be closed between 6th street and 7th street, and the Bear Creek Trail near the bridge will be closed for the duration of the project.
